At the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2015, innovation was truly the star of the show. According to event organizers, a record-setting number of technical papers were submitted for presentation this year, covering the industry’s most impressive technical innovations and applications.

The Oil States booth offered a great example of the technical focus of this year’s show, with some of our most recent product developments on display. The centerpiece of our exhibition was our new ultra-durable 6.0K Subsea FlexJoint Assembly, which is designed for harsh conditions and simplified maintenance.

Also on display: our 1,500 lb. GripLock connector, new shallow-water pipeline products model, an SB 209 clutch and cladding pipe with cutaway to highlight our capabilities with our newest acquisition, Montgomery Machine.

More than 94,700 attendees from 130 countries gathered at the annual conference, which was held May 4 – 7, making it the sixth-largest attendance in the 47-year history of OTC.

The show’s global reach and large attendance makes it a valuable stage for Oil States’ technologies and expertise each year. The Oil States team hosted hospitality receptions after hours on May 4 and 5 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, which provided networking and conversation in a relaxed setting after the show.
