In contrast, Oil States’ strategically remains a project focused specialist, flexibly working together from beginning to end with all major operators as well as engineering and installation contractors to provide competitive solutions to unique and complex challenges. Drawing upon a deep pool of technical talent and global infrastructure in all producing regions, Oil States has the resources to deliver crucial technology and execute projects reliably and efficiently.
A history of innovation
In 1942, “Slim” Bowerman founded Grand Prairie Rubber Company with just four employees. The company grew by making specialized parts for the burgeoning onshore oil and gas industry. It eventually expanded to offshore, industrial and military markets as a multi-national provider of technology and services – becoming the Oil States we know today.
As it reaches this important 75th anniversary milestone, Oil States recognizes and celebrates the many vital contributions of its customers, employees, suppliers, and all who have helped it build this strong foundation.
